Nazarbayev talks to China's Xi on sidelines of SCO Summit

    President Nursultan Nazarbayev has met with President of China, Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the SCO Summit in Dushanbe on September 12, a news statement from the Kazakh president said.
    The two presidents discussed cooperation on trade and investments, the fuel and energy, transit and transportation, cultural and humanitarian sectors, as well as within international organizations.
    Both sides noted the “positive dynamics” (original – KNL) of their cooperation.
    They also discussed results of the CICA Summit in China in May of this year.
    Xi Jinping expressed a readiness to continue fruitful cooperation with Kazakhstan.
    Nazarbayev in turn congratulated Xi on the 65^th anniversary of foundation of People's Republic of China and wished success and prosperity to the Chinese people, according to Akipress.
