Nazarbayev holds phone conversation with Putin

Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev has held a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Tengrinews reports, citing a news release from Ak Orda.
During their conversation, the two presidents discussed upcoming events to take place in Moscow on December 21, including a session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.
They also went over Kyrgyzstan’s accession into the Eurasian Economic Union.
The development of bilateral cooperation amid the reciprocal sanctions between Russia and the European Union was also on their agenda.
In addition, they exchanged opinions on the Ukrainian crisis in light of the coming winter, Tengrinews.kz reports.
