Nazarbayev to launch 15 New Industrial Projects in special ceremony

    As part of a national teleconference dedicated to the Day of Industrialization today, President Nazarbayev, will officially launch 15 new industrial projects, the Ministry of Investment and Development states.
    "In a festive atmosphere, 15 new projects of Maps of industrialization will be launced," the statement said.
    In particular, work will begin for the construction of a plant for the production of titanium ingots and slabs in the EKO a gold processing plant in Karaganda, and the Ural Transformer Factory for the production of electrical products.
    In addition, Western Europe-Western China International Transit Corridor will be launched. Also, a 220 meter bridge is expected to open across the Syrdarya River.
    The Khorgos - Eastern Gate SEZ is set to be open for business in the Almaty Oblast along with other projects.
    The president will also give out awards during the event, including the Altyn Sapa Quality Award, the Paryz Award as well as special presidential accolades. The landmark event will be attended by government officials and representatives from the business community, Primeminister.kz reports.
