8th Astana Economic Forum kicks off in Kazakhstan

    The 8th Astana Economic Forum has started today (May 21), in the country's capital.
    On May 21-22, the forum will include 30 discussions on the main theme - Infrastructure - a Driver of Economic Development.
    Among other things, the forum will discuss prospects for the global economy to 2050 and the project to revive the Great Silk Road and Urban Development.
    The speakers will include international researchers, politicians and economists, including Steve Forbes, Harvard University Professor Kenneth Rogoff, Nobel laureates Finn Kinland and Eric Maskin.
