Kyrgyz-Kazakh state border officially opens

    The Kyrgyz-Kazakh state customs border officially opened yesterday as part of Kyrgyzstan's entry into the Eurasian Economic Union.
    The ceremony for the opening of the national borders of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan was attended by Prime Minister Temir Sariyev and Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Bakhytzhan Sagintayev.
    During the ceremony, Sariyev asked permission from Kyrgyz President, Almazbek Atambayev to officially remove the customs control on the state border.
    Sagintayev made the same request to President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan, Akipress reports.
