Senate ratifies Kazakhstan-Romania agreement on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters

    At a plenary session of the Senate yesterday, MPs ratified the agreement between Kazakhstan and Romania on legal assistance in criminal matters.
    The said legal assistance includes the servicing of documents; locating or identifying persons and objects, obtaining testimony and statements, the temporary transfer of persons being held in custody, the implementation of search, seizure and confiscation operations, examining objects and sites and the exchange of information and evidence, Kazinform reports.
