President of Rwanda Paul Kagame went on an official visit to Astana, Kazakhstan on September 21, and discussed cooperation issues with Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Nazarbayev said the two sides should establish synergies despite their geographical remoteness.
He noted that Kazakhstan as a relatively young nation, has just started establishing relations with African countries.
Nazarbayev also stressed Mr Kagame's efforts to maintain peace and save Rwanda from genocide.
Kagame thanked Nazarbayev for the meeting and expressed readiness on part of Rwanda to boost cooperation with Kazakhstan, according to Akipress.
