Council of Foreign Ministers and CIS Heads of States to convene in Burabai

    The Burabai Health Resort (Akmola Oblast) will host the latest meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers and the Council of the CIS Heads of State.
    According to a news statement from the CIS Executive Committee, the Council of CIS heads of states will consider a number draft documents on the upcoming important events including the 70th anniversary of the UN and 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster.
    In addition, the heads of state will adopt documents regulating cooperation in the areas of migration, the fight against crime, culture, emergency management and border security. Moreover, they will consider collaboration in the development of the military sector.
    A portion of the documents will be reviewed at a meeting of the foreign ministers in Astana. In addition, the foreign ministers will review plans for the celebrations marking the 25th anniversary of the CIS, the development of international youth cooperation, physical culture and sports, as well as the activities of the Council of the Heads of State News Agencies, according to Kazinform.
