30 memorandums signed at Astana Invest Forum 2015

    The Astana Invest Forum 2015 has resulted in the signing of 30 investment memorandums, a news statement from the Kazakh government said.
    The Astana city administration and the China Railway Asia Europe Construction Investment Co. Ltd signed a document for $ 100 million to set up an engineering and construction machinery leasing company.
    $ 400 million will also be obtained for other major investment projects.
    The forum was created to showcase the Kazakh capital’s investment opportunities in the areas of logistics, infrastructure, innovative development and the development of modern public transport.
    The 6^th Astana Invest 2015 International Investment Forum took place in the capital of Kazakhstan from October 28 to October 30.
    Business people and investors from over 20 countries participated in the forum and many went on a tour of industrial parks in Astana, and attended master classes by world-famous coaches. In addition, B2B and B2G meetings, were organized along with the General Session with participation of more than 1,000 people.
    In addition, 70 exhibition centers presenting investment projects, Smart City, Expo-2017 and "Made in Astana" pavilions were organized, according to Akipress.
