Early parliamentary vote planned for March, source says

    An early election for the Majilis will be held in March of this year, an informed source in Astana has said.
    "The early election to the Majilis will presumably be held in March. Most likely in January, an announcement will be made on the early termination of the authority of the lower chamber and the new composition of deputies will be elected within two months. At the same time, the elections to the Maslikhat will be held – the local representative bodies," the source said over the phone, according to KazTAG.
    
    Majilis deputies have put forward an initiative to dissolve and hold early elections.
    The statement was read out today by Vladislav Kosarev, deputy representing Communist people`s party of Kazakhstan (CPPK), during a joint briefing with the participation of all factions of the House
    "We, the representatives of all three parliamentary factions, put initiative for the early dissolution of the Majilis of the Parliament", - said the deputy of Majilis Nurlan Abdirov, reading a joint statement on Wednesday in Astana.
    "In order to proceed immediately to the implementation of new reforms now, and for the effective implementation of anti-crisis measures, we support the initiative to terminate the powers of Majilis of the V convocation and appointment of new elections in the parliament", - said the deputy Vladimir Kosarev, according to KazInform and KazTAG.
