Kazakhstan invites SCO observer mission to monitor parliament elections

Kazakhstan has invited the observer mission of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) to the parliamentary elections set for March 20, a press statement from of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
On January 25, Kazakh Ambassador to China, Shahrat Nuryshev met with Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Rashid Alimov.
During their conversation, the two sides discussed the current state and future prospects for cooperation within the organization.
Nuryshev invited the SCO observer mission to participate in the monitoring of the upcoming parliamentary vote, Akipress reports.
