Davutoğlu starts two-day visit to Kazakhstan

    Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu, who is currently in London for a conference on Syria, arrives in Kazakhstan today on a two-day visit.
    He met with Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) during Davos in January. Their meeting, which was closed to the press, was reported to have lasted 45 minutes.
    Davutoğlu is currently in London, along with leaders, civil society members and representatives fromm multinational corporations from 70 countries, for a donor conference, in an attempt to raise $9 billion for those affected by the war in Syria.
    The Turkish premier is also reported to be engaged in bilateral talks with UK officials, Today’s Zaman reports.
