Senators to consider state budget amendments on Thursday

    Senate Speaker Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev will chair a session of the Kazakh Senate on Thursday to consider changes to the state budget for 2016.
    The meeting, which is set for March 3, will discuss draft amendments to the law on the guaranteed transfer from the National Fund for 2016-2018 and draft amendments to the national budget for 2016-2018.
    The senators will also consider the draft law on employment and will hold the first reading of draft amendments to the law on employment, and draft amendments to the law on environmental issues.
    The ratification of the agreement with the Slovak Republic on the mutual protection of investments is also expected to take place Thursday, among some other treaties with foreign states, according to Akipress.
