The US State Department has warned of an ongoing threat of terrorism in the Central Asian region for the foreseeable future.
Terrorist groups such as the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan, Al-Qaeda, and Islamic Jihad Union remain active in Central Asia, the State Department has said.
