Iranian and Kazakh parliament speakers talk cooperation in Moscow

    On April 19, Kazakh Senate Chairman Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, (Majlis) Ali Larijani on the sidelines of the First Meeting of Speakers of Parliaments of the Eurasian countries in Moscow, a press message from the Senate said.
    Tokayev and Ali Larijani discussed regional security issues amid an intensification of the activities of terrorist organizations.
    They called for coordinated action in the fight against extremism.
    Kassym-Jomart Tokayev invited his Iranian counterpart in an international conference called — Religions Against Terrorism, in Astana on May 31, according to Akipress.
