Lukashenko in Kazakhstan on official visit

    Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus is in Astana on an official visit. Kazakh Investment and Development Minister, Asset Issekeshev welccomed him at the airport. "Lukashenko will take part in of the session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. The talks will be held in narrow and enlarged formats. The agenda includes deepening economic relations between the EEU and third countries and key integration organizations. The concept for the creation of EEU common markets for gas, oil and petrochemical products is an important issue for Belarus as well," a press statement from the Belarusian President says.
    The EEU's main macroeconomic goals for 2016-2017 and its main international efforts will also be reviewed.
    Lukashenko is set to meet with Nursultan Nazarbayev during his visit. They will discuss bilateral relations and interaction in integration organizations, according to Kazinform.
