Issekeshev mulls direct flight to Amaravati

Asset Issekeshev, the akim of Astana says he will explore the introduction of a direct flight between his city and Amaravati. During chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu's visit, the akim said he would speak to the country's transport minister about operating a flight to the capital of Andhra Pradesh.
"We are keen to develop a relationship with your state. Kazakhstan has a lot of opportunities for businessmen fr om Andhra Pradesh. I will try to get a direct flight launched to increase tourist traffic fr om our country to yours," he told the CM.
Speaking on the occasion, Naidu pointed out how Astana and Amaravati share a lot of similarities, and sought Kazakhstan's help in building the capital. "We must chalk out a roadmap on how to take forward our cooperation within a specific time frame," he said.
Issekeshev expressed a willingness to share experience in all sectors Astana's wh ere performance has been good so far, as as wh ere 'they went horribly wrong,' (original - KNL) so that AP can learn from the experience and avoid mistakes. "We will work with you," the akim assured Naidu.
The latter sought details on the architects and designers who were involved in the construction of Astana, according to the India Times.
