Kazakh electrical cars to be exported abroad

    Prime Minister Karim Massimov inspected the development of Kazakhstan’s car industry during his visit to SaryarkaAutoProm LLP in Kostanai.
    Massimov inspected the plan’s technological process, checked out its assembly shops, grain harvesters and Kazakhstani electrical cars as well.
    Massimov and the heads of the company discussed the development of the sector in Kazakhstan, state support measures the sector needs and steps to stimulate demand for domestic cars, Pm.kz reports.
    Kazakhstan’s car industry makes a great contribution to the development of the regional economy, officials claim. Thus, 11.3% of the GRP comes from this sector.
    SaryarkaAutoProm LLP is a strategic enterprise of Kostanai. A new production line was launched there as part of the industrialization program, which is the production of Ssang Yong Nomad model cars. The launch of this line made it possible to create about 600 jobs.
    During his visit to the plant, Massimov inspected the plant’s products including a Kazak-made electric car.
    Chairman of the Board of Directors of AllurGroup Andrei Lavrentyev discussed the auto group’s plans to expand production, Kazinform reports.
