Kazakhstan and Russia to boost information exchange on terror groups

    Kazakhstan and Russia have agreed to enhance their information exchange on extremist and terror organizations as well as persons wanted for involvement in terrorism and extremist crimes.
    These issues were discussed between the internal affair ministers of the two countries, Kalmukhanbet Kasymov and Vladimir Kolokoltsev, their deputies, and the heads of the Internal Affairs Border Departments on August 16 in Ust-Kamenogorsk, the Kazakh Internal Affairs Ministry said.
    The parties also discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation to enhance road safety. They aslso exchanged views on how to enhance information exchange regarding the registration and deregistration of vehicles, driving licenses, as well as cooperation in searching for vehicles and vehicle thieves.
    The internal affair ministers of the two countries approved a joint action plan for 2017, Trend reports.
