Kazakhstan launches social investments program

02.12.2016
The Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund has started a new social investments program called Menin Yelim (in Kazakh -- "my country") devoted to the country’s 25th anniversary of Independence, a press statement from the company reports. According to Vice Chairman of the Board of Atameken Murat Abenov, the program will create social infrastructure and will provide high-quality growth in the regions.
"It is easy to build a sports ground in Astana which then can be presented to a large number of the high-ranking officials. But I am sure that such projects have little value for people. The Menin Yelim program is remarkable because it reconstructs and creates social infrastructure in the regions," Abenov commented, Kazinform reports.
