Kazakhstan’s GDP on the rise - Economy Minister

28.03.2017
On the sidelines in Parliament, the National Economy Minister Timur Suleimenov said that as of January-February 2017, Kazakhstan's GDP has grown by 2.5%, Kazpravda.kz reports.
"Over the two months, GDP has grown by 2.5% on-year, which is rather a good indicator." There are certain issues related to slightly lower oil prices, and their effect and influence are also taken into account. The Government has corresponding plans in this regard," the Minister said in response to the journalists' question.
It is notable that last year’s official forecast of the GDP growth was 0.5%.
