More than 20bn tenge assets transferred from Kazinvestbank to Alfa-Bank

    All the deposits of individuals and pensions assets kept in Kazinvestbank have been saved in the result of the assets and liabilities transfer of Kazinvestbank to Alfa-Bank, said Jemma Zinullina, head of the interim administration.
    In her words, the bargain was aimed to defend the rights of depositors: all the deposits of individuals to 7.8 bn tenge have been transferred as of May 19 2017.
    “Including the deposits whose sum is higher than the one guaranteed by Kazakhstani fund of deposits guaranteeing, excluding the fund’s liability to compensate the funds,” she said.
    In her words the liabilities of the bank before the Uniform Saving Pension Fund have been transferred. “The pension assets of USPF have been transferred to the full to more than 3 bn tenge taking in account the interest,” she said.
    According to Andrey Yelkhov, member of board Alfa-Bank, the pension assets earlier deposited in Kazinvestbank have been transferred under certain conditions. “The interest rate 8% for three years period,” he said.
    In his words, 20% of deposits of legal entities to 10 bn tenge have been transferred.
