RK Finance Ministry reveals violations in privatisation of state entities

Kazakhstan Finance Ministry reported about violations in implementing the Comprehensive privatisation plan for 2016-2020, Kazpravda.kz reports. 

"Violations of the bidding procedure were revealed in Atyrau, Zhambyl, Mangistau, Kostanay and East Kazakhstan regions and Almaty, socio-entrepreneurial corporations (SEC) Yesil, Aktobe, Taraz, Shymkent and Astana," the press service of the Finance Ministry said.

According to the ministry, pre-sale preparation and evaluation was "delayed" for 12 facilities. Five objects were sold by splitting state shares.

"Currently, the Finance Ministry is working to force the sale of the remaining state shares of the facilities," the ministry emphasized. 

During a recent meeting of the Government the Prime Minister Bakhytzhan Sagintayev instructed the Finance Minister Bakhyt Sultanov to inform the public about violators of the privatisation rules.
