A meeting of the Republican tripartite commission on social partnership and regulation of social and labour relations was held in the Government House under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev, at which a General Agreement was signed regarding this, Kazpravda.kz reports.
As the Prime Minister’s press office informs, the leaders of the Trade Unions Federation, Confederation of Employers, Kazakhstan Confederation of Labor, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, the Republican Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises Association took part in the work of the commission.
During the meeting, the issues of the social and labor policy of the state and creation of decent working conditions were discussed in the light of the tasks set in the RK President’s state-of-the-nation Address "New Development Opportunities in the Conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution".
Within the framework of the meeting, the General Agreement was signed between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, republican associations of workers and republican associations of employers for 2018-2020, which determines the agreed positions of the parties on the main directions in the regulation of social and labor relations. The action plan (roadmap) for the implementation of the commitments undertaken within the General Agreement was approved.
The document was signed by the parties of the Republican Tripartite Commission for Social Partnership and Regulation of Social and Labour Relations: on behalf of the Government by Deputy Prime Minister of RK Dosayev, on behalf of the workers association the Chairman of the Trade Unions Federation Abdraym and the Secretary General of Kazakhstan Labour Confederation Mashkenov, on behalf of employers' associations by Atameken NCE board chairman Myrzakhmetov, board chairman of the Confederation of Employers Baikenov, executive director of the Republican Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises Association, the president of the Union of Producers and Exporters of Kazakhstan Radostovets.
The General Agreement for 2018-2020 concerns technological modernization of the economy, cardinal improvement of business environment, facilitation of formal and productive employment of the population, improvement of the quality of human capital, conditions and protection of labor, and industrial and environmental safety.
