To date, more than 50 instruments of state support, open specialised institutes for business development of regional and national levels operate for the development of business in Kazakhstan. In addition, different places for the provision of services, such as service centres for entrepreneurs, the public, investors and others were created. To make it easier for businessmen to get services, the country is working hard to create a special digital platform - a "single window".
A wide variety of tools and centres for supporting entrepreneurship creates problems for businessmen in choosing the most suitable instance for obtaining advice. Therefore, all government support tools, development institutions, business support centres will be fully automated and streamlined on one electronic resource with an understandable interface for a simple consumer to create a single window.
The created electronic system will be equipped with extensive functionality to process business requests, providing online consultations on business development, developing the most appropriate package of support measures depending on the specific business project. Receiving services through a single window allows to provide equal access for all businessmen and services for business development. Also, the need to contact people will be eliminated and corruption risks will decrease.
To date, an interdepartmental commission for the selection of public services to be provided through the State Corporation "Government for Citizens" has reviewed 52 support instruments, of which only 46 have been approved.
As a result of the review, the Ministry of Economy, Agriculture and Investment and Development are working on developing roadmaps and making adjustments and amendments in the existing regulatory legal acts.
At the same time, the Atameken National chamber of entrepreneurs created a portal (atameken.net), which is a "single window" for business, where Kazakhstanis have the opportunity to apply for government services and get business support. Now, 15 state support tools have been automated, which can be obtained through the portal of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs. Automation of other 31 state support tools is planned to be completed in October 2018.
