The head of state Nursultan Nazarbayev met with the chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, Kazpravda.kz reports citing the press service of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.During the meeting, the sides discussed key aspects of cooperation between the two countries.Nazarbayev stressed the strategic nature of trusting and dynamically developing interaction between Kazakhstan and Russia.
Nursultan Nazarbayev also focused on development of mutual cooperation in the framework of international organizations such as the EEU, CSTO and the CIS. The head of state, pointing out the important role of the governments of Kazakhstan and Russia in expanding trade and economic relations and strengthening interregional ties, thanked Dmitry Medvedev for his contribution to the development of bilateral partnership. In turn, the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation noted that the result of mutually beneficial cooperation is the growth in the volume of trade between Russia and Kazakhstan.
