During a meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Government in Astana, 15 documents were signed on topical issues of various interactions between the CIS countries, Kazpravda.kz correspondent reports.
"Today’s agenda included first of all the economic issues of our states: safety of nuclear facilities, peaceful use of outer space, and documents were signed on a number of financial issues in the CIS, in the humanitarian sphere, 15 documents in all," said Sergei Lebedev, chairman of the CIS Executive Committee.
In addition, he noted that today's meeting confirms that Kazakhstan remains a fruitful venue for large and integration events.
A week later, on November 8, the CSTO summit will gather in Astana, on November 9 - the forum of border regions of Russia and Kazakhstan, Lebedev reminded.
