The head of state noted the importance of the meeting of politicians to discuss important international challenges.
A regular meeting of Astana Club takes place in Nazarbayev Centre in the capital city, where the head of state noted the importance of gathering of world politicians and diplomats during the difficult situation in the world, BNews.kz correspondent reports.
"This unique platform for dialogue brings leading experts, world politicians, and diplomats together for the 4th time," said Nursultan Nazarbayev addressing to the meeting's participants, and underlining his personal acquaintance with many. "I am glad to have you in our capital city at the most challenging time to discuss global challenges."
The President called the Astana Club dialogue platform as a 'heart of Eurasia' and underlined that the most urgent global challenges are faced here.
"We have a common duty to search for a solution to out from a disastrous spiral of confrontation growing ever tighter on the world economy and geopolitics. To this end, firstly, I would like to emphasize key markers and risks to the new reality," said the head of state.
Astana Club is an international discussion platform organized as a political forum bringing together leading experts, politicians, and diplomats around the globe. The Club focuses to discuss challenges Eurasia faces during crises and uncertainty. The meeting's main theme: "On the way to a Big Eurasia: How to build a common future?"
