The First President of Kazakhstan, Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, took part in the official ceremony of enthronization of the Emperor of Japan Naruhito.
"Elbasy took part in the ceremony of enthronization of Emperor Naruhito at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe. Representatives from more than 190 countries took part in the ceremony dedicated to the succession of the imperial throne of Japan," the statement said.
"The Japanese side has set the appropriate dress code for this event. All participants in the ceremony, including the heads of delegations, must wear the White Tie dress code", Elbasy’s spokesman Aidos Ukibay previously reported on Twitter.
Recall, Elbasy arrived in Tokyo the day before. Nursultan Nazarbayev is also expected to hold a series of bilateral meetings as part of the visit.
