The first President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, met with the Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe. During the meeting, the First President of Kazakhstan thanked Shinzo Abe for the invitation to the enthronization ceremony of Emperor Naruhito. During the talk, the parties discussed bilateral cooperation and development of trade-economic relations.
Shinzo Abe expressed support for Kazakhstan’s anti-nuclear initiatives and measures taken to counter WMD proliferation.
Views were exchanged on the situation on the Korean Peninsula.
