According to preliminary information, 15 people were killed in the Bek Air plane crash in Almaty region.
“According to preliminary data, there were 93 passengers and 5 crew members on board. The plane crashed in the area of Almerek village of Talgar region,” the press service of the Almaty Akimat said.
5 people were delivered to the Almaty hospital in extremely serious condition.
"The hospitals of Almaty and the Almaty region (Ili, Talgar, Enbekshikazakh districts, Almaty clinical hospital) are mobilized and ready to receive the injured.
“Eight children with polytrauma were delivered to the Center for Children's Emergency Care. 5 adults with polytrauma were delivered to the Emergency Hospital. 17 patients were delivered to State Clinical Hospital No. 4 in critical condition. 14 people died on the spot. All psychologists from medical organizations are involved,” - the department added.
