The Executive Director of the Fund of the First President of Kazakhstan, Aset Isekeshev, reported on the implementation of the Fund's projects in the social and educational fields, and also informed Nursultan Nazarbayev about work plans for 2020, the press service of Elbasy reported.
“In 2019, the Fund carried out 95 projects. Among them are projects in the educational sphere to support talented creative and scientific youth. A number of projects in the social sphere have been implemented, including charity events. In 2019, the coverage of Fund projects has grown significantly. The total coverage of participants in our events amounted to more than 460 thousand people,” the Executive Director of the Fund said.
In addition, Aset Issekeshev provided information on the development of strategic analytics at the Institute of World Economy and Politics under the Foundation of the First President of Kazakhstan, Elbasy.
“On the basis of the Institute of World Economy and Politics, a strategic think tank is being created to conduct research in the field of geopolitics, economics, human capital, as well as sociological and regional studies. We have already held more than 20 conferences, round tables and forums,” the Executive Director of the Fund said.
During the meeting, the First President of Kazakhstan was presented with information on areas of work in 2020 as part of the ongoing transformation of the FFP. In the coming year, it is planned to hold 125 events in key areas of the First President’s Fund. At the end of the meeting, Nazarbayev gave a number of instructions.
Nursultan Nazarbayev also held a meeting with the leadership of the Office of the First President of Kazakhstan. The meeting reviewed the results of the activities of the Office for 2019 and the work plan for the coming period.
The meeting provided information on the implementation of tasks within the framework of ensuring the activities of the First President, including the preparation of foreign visits and domestic events with the participation of the First President of Kazakhstan. Particular attention was also paid to the upcoming work schedule of the First President for 2020.
In addition, the meeting participants discussed issues of the international and regional agenda. Following the meeting, Nursultan Nazarbayev gave a number of specific instructions.
