The Senate Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Dariga Nazarbayeva, during a plenary meeting said that in 2020 the Days of the regions will be held in the Senate.
"This year, about 80 events are planned. The Days of regions in the Senate will be held for the first time. We have a schedule and a plan has been approved. They will help establish close cooperation with maslikhats and regions. Such events should be held on a regular basis," she said.
In addition, according to her, it is planned to devote parliamentary hearings to such key topics as the state of light industry in Kazakhstan, the development of the agro-industrial complex, and development of transit potential.
"We are already preparing for these events," she said.
