Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a series of meetings in Akorda

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a series of meetings in Akorda, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the President of Kazakhstan.

During the conversation between the President and the well-known economist, adviser to the general director of Kazmunaygaz Engineering, Zhaksybek Kulekeyev, the issues of socio-economic development of the country, the formation of the state budget revenues, and the reduction of Kazakhstan’s economy’s dependence on energy exports were considered.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev drew attention to the importance of developing a set of measures to stimulate economic growth, improve fiscal and monetary policies, develop entrepreneurship, and support domestic producers.

At the meeting of the Head of State with a member of the National Council of Public Trust, Director of the Institute of European Law and Human Rights, Marat Bashimov, issues of reforming the law enforcement system, improving legislative activities and developing the civil sector were discussed.

A public figure supported the position of the Head of State on the bill on peaceful assemblies, providing for the notification nature of their holding.
