The first death from coronavirus was recorded in Kazakhstan. This was announced by the Minister of Information and Social Development of Kazakhstan, Dauren Abayev, during an online briefing.
"Unfortunately, today a citizen of Kazakhstan died from coronavirus. We express our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased. This is an irreparable loss. We all grieve deeply. Tomorrow, the Health Department of Nur-Sultan will give comprehensive information about her medical indications. This case once again reminds us of the coronavirus danger. Everything happening now is a test for all of us, "said Abayev.
He reminded of the need to fulfill all the requirements and instructions on isolation, preventing contacts and observing the quarantine and emergency situations.
"Starting March 28, new restrictive measures will come into force in three cities of republican status. It is not a curfew, but we ask you to strictly observe the emergency requirements. They are all taken to protect our health. We ask you to treat them with understanding. Take care of yourself and your loved ones ", he added.
