Prime Minister Askar Mamin, during a Government meeting, said that the instructions of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, will be financed and completed in a timely manner.
"Today, the world is going through a difficult phase of the coronavirus pandemic and the decline in global demand for raw materials has resulted in a sharp slowdown in economic activity. These factors affect the country's economy, the number of jobs and the welfare of the people," said Mamin.
The Head of Government noted that, at the instruction of the President, a forecast for socio-economic development was developed.
"The draft republican budget will make it possible to fully implement the entire package of anti-crisis measures. All instructions of the Head of State will be financed and completed in a timely manner. Elbasy supported and noted the importance of the measures taken. The government keeps the situation under tight control and has all the necessary resources to ensure socio-economic stability," - said Mamin.
In conclusion, the Prime Minister recalled that the President identified further steps and set tasks to support citizens and businesses.
"Our priority is to ensure employment. In this regard, a new employment roadmap has been adopted. The total funding has been increased to one trillion tenge. This will help create more than 240 thousand new jobs. In addition, it is necessary to ensure timely and effective implementation of the employment roadmaps and payment of all types of social support," he concluded.
