The Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with the chairman of the Accounts Committee for monitoring the execution of the republican budget Natalya Godunova, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the President of Kazakhstan.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed about the monitoring of the spending of funds allocated for anti-crisis measures in Kazakhstan in connection with the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the head of the Accounts Committee, control includes two stages. At the first stage, together with the Finance Ministry, public procurement verification and cameral control are carried out. At the second stage, the Accounts Committee reviews the administrators of budget programs in all 17 regions of the country.
The President instructed to continue work on ensuring the targeted spending of budgetary financial resources aimed at healthcare, the implementation of the Employment Roadmap, support for vulnerable groups of the population, and to report on the results of inspections on an ongoing basis.
The Head of State was also informed about the content of the conclusion on the execution of the republican budget for 2019. Along with this, the Accounts Committee conducted an audit of the consolidated financial statements for the first time.
Following the meeting, the President gave a number of specific instructions.
