President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Minister of Information and Social Development, Aida Balayeva, Kazpravda.kz refers to the Akorda press service reporting.
Tokayev heard a report on the current work and prospects of the ministry, and focused on the implementation of anti-crisis measures and development of civil society, feedback from the population, improving the mechanisms of state information ordering and optimizing state media resources.
The President was briefed on the tasks facing the recently formed Committee for the Development of Interethnic Relations and the Institute of Applied Ethnopolitical Studies.
He tasked to improve work in the field of information policy and social development.
