This year, compared with the same period last year, a decrease in the incidence rate for 57 types of infectious diseases was achieved, including meningitis by 3.5 times, measles by 2.8 times, salmonellosis by 2.1 times. In just five months, 1.4 million people were vaccinated against infectious diseases, which amounted to 92% of the number to be vaccinated.
At the same time, the situation with coronavirus infection remains difficult. Over the past two weeks, an increase in the incidence rate has been recorded in almost all regions. The main reason for the increase in morbidity is the failure of citizens to comply with sanitary requirements and poor monitoring of their implementation.
The head of government noted that, on behalf of the Head of State, the Interdepartmental Commission decided to introduce additional restrictive measures for the coming days off in a number of large cities and in settlements of all regions with a population of over 50 thousand people.
“This decision must be enforced. Special attention of akimats should be given to strict observance of sanitary norms and social distance in public places. I instruct the Ministry of Healthcare, together with regional akimats, to prepare a set of new measures to combat the spread of coronavirus infection. Make operational decisions on adjusting the measures taken, taking into account the situation in each region,” said Mamin.
The prime minister instructed to take measures to increase domestic production of personal protective equipment and ensure their accessibility to the population, to form a sufficient supply of ventilation devices and a reserve of personal protective equipment, to ensure their availability in the state material reserve.
Akimats were instructed to work with large enterprises on the issue of providing workers with personal protective equipment independently, and the Ministry of Agriculture was instructed to ensure strict control of preventive sanitary and veterinary measures to prevent the possible spread of infections.
The Head of Government instructed to provide a plan for annual immunization of the population and update the algorithms of action, taking into account the current situation on coronavirus infection.
