A meeting of the RK Security Council was held under the chairmanship of Nursultan Nazarbayev, according to the press service of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.The meeting brought up ensuring public health and economic security.
Opening the meeting, the President of the Security Council praised the selfless work of doctors, police officers, military servicemen and representatives of other areas who have contributed to the fight against coronavirus infection.
During the meeting, Minister of Health Alexei Tsoi accounted on preparedness for epidemiological threats, Minister of National Economy Ruslan Dalenov -on the current risks of socio-economic development and measures to neutralize them, Minister of Education and Science, Askhat Aimagambetov - on measures to ensure the stability of the educational process.
Nursultan Nazarbayev underscored the need to prepare resources in the event of global "second wave" of a pandemic, develop comprehensive preventive measures, as well as the importance of reliable assessment and forecasting of the incidence rate. Law enforcement agencies were tasked to prevent deterioration of the crime rate.
