President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed the Law on amendments and additions to the Budget Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The text of the law signed by the President is published in the press.
The law was adopted by Parliament on December 10, and provides for the introduction of a countercyclical rule to strengthen the saving function of the National Fund, and also assessment by state bodies of the economic effect of spending on budget investments and subsidies within the budget bid, introduction of budget bids with calculations only for new expenditure initiatives, new approaches to determining the limits of budget programs administrators, and a number of other changes.
