The Kyrgyz leader expressed gratitude for provision of humanitarian aid.Within the framework of negotiations with President Emomali Rahmon, the agenda of the forthcoming official visit of the President of Kazakhstan to Tajikistan was considered.According to the heads of state, the talks in Dushanbe will help define new horizons for development of Kazakh-Tajik cooperation, as well as outline new steps to enhance regional cooperation.Prospects for interstate relations also became the main topic of the conversation between the presidents of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov confirmed their intention to build up the multifaceted Kazakh-Turkmen partnership in order to bring it to a qualitatively new level.
According to the heads of state, the forthcoming visit of the President of Kazakhstan to Ashgabat will decisively contribute to this.During the conversation of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the high level of Kazakh-Uzbek relations, friendship, good-neighborliness and strategic partnership was especially noted.The heads of state noted the interaction of the governments of the two countries in order to maintain the intensive dynamics of trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian ties. The leaders of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan exchanged views on the situation in the Central Asian region and on Afghan issues.Kassym-Jomart Tokayev invited Shavkat Mirziyoyev to visit Kazakhstan this year.
During the conversation with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the importance of giving impetus to the entire range of Kazakh-Azerbaijani cooperation was noted.An agreement was reached on adoption of joint measures aimed at increasing mutual trade, implementing joint projects in key areas of the economy. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed gratitude to his Azerbaijani counterpart for supporting Kazakhstani initiatives in the Turkic Council.
