Kazakh head of state receives credentials from foreign ambassadors

The ceremony of presenting credentials to the President of Kazakhstan by the newly appointed ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the four states was held at the Akorda residence. The credentials were presented by Ambassador Jun Yamada of Japan, Ambassador Shubhdarshini Tripathi of India, as well as concurrent Ambassador of Cambodia Meas Kim Heng and concurrent Ambassador of Sri Lanka Meegahalande Durage Lamawansa.

The President congratulated the ambassadors on the official start of their diplomatic mission, which coincides with a significant date - the upcoming 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence.

He informed foreign diplomats about the priority areas of Kazakhstan's foreign policy, economic and investment opportunities, activities to ensure security and stability in the region, as well as measures taken to combat the coronavirus pandemic and climate change. In conclusion, the President wished the diplomats success and conveyed warm greetings to the leaders of their states.
